Who We Are
Based in Atlanta, GA, Laughing Matters Corp is a registered non-profit organization. We are a team of executives, facilitators, technology strategists, community outreach coordinators, healthcare workers, advocates, and creatives. By combining our diverse backgrounds in executive leadership, technological innovation, program facilitation, and volunteer operations, we seek to bring play-based connections into spaces that need it most.
The Origin of Our Name
After we chose and registered our name, we discovered a beautiful serendipity: "Laughing Matters" was the name previously used by the late Tommy Futch and his legendary Atlanta comedy troupe. With the warm blessing of Tommy's troupe partner, we carry the name forward to honor that legacy.
